The Hairstyling Technique that Really Sucks

I haven’t had a haircut in almost four months and I’m beginning to look like a mad scientist.
The reason is because my regular hairstylist—the one I’d been going to each and every month for the previous eight months—was recently discovered by a high-profile modeling agency and, rather than being known as the girl that cuts my hair, decided to throw everything away to become a highly-paid fashion model.
What was she thinking?
Anyway, to remedy this situation, I’ve decided to make a major purchase that could quite possibly lead to some of the funniest episodes ever on Dead Rooster. That’s right: last night I ordered a Flowbee.
For those of you that have never heard of it, a Flowbee is an apparatus that—when hooked-up to your vacuum cleaner—will supposedly give you a perfect haircut.
No, I’m not kidding.
…and, yes, I’m really going to use it on myself.
I’m going to take pictures, so when disaster strikes, it will be fully documented. Hopefully, I won’t end-up with a hairstyle that looks like it was designed by bobcats.
Stay tuned.
UPDATE: I’ve recieved my Flowbee and cut my own hair with it! You can see the results HERE with photos!

Oh NO, Rooster! Whatever will that thing do to your feathers?? Didn’t Garth of Wayne’s World once try that?
And we’ve all seen Garth’s hair…
Scared, very scared….

I have GOT to do it. I will start with the long setting in case I really ruin it. That way, I can get a professional to fix it (I hope!).

I suspect you will need to change your name from Dead Rooster to Plucked Chicken.
But good luck.

Hell go for it. Life’s short. It will grow back-maybe. Even the name “Flowbee” sounds enticing. I used to see those ads on t.v. too. Like 20 years ago! Hmmmm.

I remember those commercials too. I tried to find one at Sears, K-Mart, Target, etc., but when I tried to explain what it was, people just laughed at me.
Finally, I found it on line and ordered it.

Look now, Just remember two things.1. Hair grows back. 2. Don’t go sticking anything else into that flowbee thing. I have heard stories.

Yes, hair grows back, and I would never stick anything else in there–but, if I did, it would grow back too…right?

lol William I don’t think you have anything to worry about. My husband uses our Flowbee on himself and both of our boys and they always look great! Having said that, make sure you use the right attachment or you could go severely short. Good luck!
*is it bad that I secretly want you to screw up so we can see some really funny pics?!!

The difference, though, is that your husband probably has a reasonable idea of what looks good. I, on the other hand, have a fashion sense that can best be described as zoological.

Dude. Don’t cut your hair. The mad scientist look is totally in right about now. Plus, the no hair look is really going out of style at the moment.

Too late, I already cut it. I didn’t go too short though–I still have the minor mad scientist look.
